Give me a reason not to go back
by chukky 594 inbeen out now for 10 yrs but life is a mess.
starting to think its because i have no spiritual compass.
why shouldn't i consider going back?.

Materialism in your congregation?
by chukky 594 inone of the thing that convinced me that the wt was not the true religion, was the materialism/showy dispolay of ones means of life, that was rife in my ex-congregation.
for example, many had private vehicle plates and huge houses, many kept on moving into bigger and bigger properties.
money for many of them seemed to be the main focus.

Does this negate creation?
by chukky 594 inas we all have an immune system, we must have inherited this from previous generations.
therefore, adam and eve must have had an immune system if we were created.
if that is the case, why?

I sued the local congregation
by chukky 594 inseveral years ago, before my wife and i left, my 5 yr old daughter got up during the watchtower to cross the aisle to sit with someone else.
she tripped on the roving microphone wire and smashed her head on the foot of a metal chair.
the bleeding was profuse and an ambulance was called.

Does immune system rule out adam?
by chukky 594 ini was thinking the other day about our complicated immune systems.
if gods plan was for adam to live on earth forever, and never die, then why was he given an immune system.
he obviously was (if he existed), because we have inherited it.
